We all know the old story about the tortoise and the hare. What we don't know is that the race officials changed the facts about how the hare really lost. Back then magic was thought to be evil and forbidden so they didn't want the public to know the truth.

It's official... My Intrusion design is the Grand Prize Winner of the 1800 Tequila Essential Artists 2009 competition! Over 15,000 designs were submitted and my design was picked as the best one to represent the upcoming series. Thanks to all of the people that voted on 1800tequila.com. Special thanks to Proximo Spirits for choosing my design out of all of the great entries.

1800 Tequila has a nifty store locator function on their website (screenshot shown below). Just go to 1800Tequila.com and click on the "FIND 1800" text. Enter your info, submit, and check out the map for locations in your area. You can go to Mapquest.com for directions if you don't know where a store is.
Make sure you call the store before going to see if they have the bottles in stock. You should ask for "the new 1800 silver tequila limited edition bottles" and if they say yes then ask for "the one that says SteveOramA on the right side" (if you want mine specifically of course).
Designed a shirt for Quiksilver Clothing's Design A Difference campaign titled Mountain Attack and it is currently for sale at DesignByHumans.com
DesignByHumans and Quiksilver will donate 6% of proceeds from the sale of each t-shirt to the Tony Hawk Foundation which helps fund recreational programs and the creation of public skateboard parks in low-income communities.
Some stories have morals hidden in them. You just have to think beyond the obvious. This design displays some of my favorite fables that were written a long time ago but are still relevant today.
Sometimes emotions can flow like a river. I attempt to show that river and a wise man floating down it in this design.
Custom designed a 4-inch mini Munny toy from Kidrobot complete with re-mixed packaging. Appropriately named him VenoMunny! Uploaded pictures to my Flickr profile with different angles to check out:
The image you see below is of my most recent painting, Honu Life. "Honu" in Hawaiian means turtle and I wanted to show the typical day for a turtle out in Hawaii, just hanging out, swimming around, and enjoying life. The original was an acrylic painting that took me about 2 weeks to complete in my spare time. I decided to have it created as a poster for now and I plan to place it on canvas in the near future.
50 artists created 1 pizza topping each and the end result is one giant, delicious pizza! My contribution is the pineapple chunk, representing Hawaii with the shades on and lei around his neck. This design collaboration was organized by Alex Solis.
